feed my spirit

Morning Worship at 10 am  is the space on Sunday  when we come together to worship God and enjoy being part of his family.

We sing, pray, read the Bible and listen to a speaker.
Children of all ages stay in for the first ten minutes or so, and then move out for their own Children’s Worship.

Communion, the sharing of bread and wine to remember that Jesus died for our sins, is held monthly. It is part of the service, but you are free to take part or not as you choose.

Afterwards we enjoy refreshments and a good natter.

The service lasts for approximately an hour and a quarter.
You do not have to be a Christian to come, all are welcome.

Usually on the last Sunday of the month, Helen our Family Worker leads a Family Service, a relaxed interactive time suitable for all ages.

At 6.00pm a forty five minute Evening Service is also followed by refreshments.   This is led by our own members, in varying formats but generally a relaxing way to finish Sunday.

On Thursday a small group called ‘Bible and Prayer’ meets at 7.30 . They pray for the world, our country and our community and watch a Bible teaching DVD.
(6 times a year this is replaced by the members business meeting.  See the Calendar tab for more details.)

A second small group meets fortnightly in homes to discuss questions of faith, and to pray.

Finally, if you would like know something about the people you are likely to meet in church, and how God became real in their lives,  read:

Richard Mann – surprised by God

Elsa Clark (who died this year) – a tough life, but good

Bryan Davies – my journey of faith

Pat Wray – a story with shoes
