Church volunteers also run Mini Cafe on Wednesday from 10.30 – 12.30 so parents and carers can call in before or after their class  (sometimes both, the cakes are so good!)  A great place to make friends.   The cafe is also open to any carer of a pre-walker baby, you so not need to attend a class to enjoy the cafe.

The Support Cafe welcomes parents and carers of children and young people who have, or may have, a special need or disability.

The cafe is open once a month on a Wednesday afternoon  from 1:30 – 3:00 and its aim is to provide a friendly and relaxed space for  parents and carers to get together for support and friendship.

The cafe has been set up by Helen Stockton who is the parent of a child with autism. Helen is the Church Family Worker at Rothwell Baptist Church but her background is in teaching so she  has much experience working with children with a wide variety of additional needs, within  a school setting.

If you would like further information please contact Helen on 07715419886 or email her:

And of course your family is very welcome to Sunday Worship from 10 -11.15 every Sunday morning.  After some time together, including the All Age Spot,  children move into their own Children’s Worship with games, stories and craft.

(Usually) on the last Sunday of the month there is a Family Service, again at 10am, when everyone stays together.

You can also hire the building on Saturdays for your child’s party.

Finally, Paul Stoner leads CoolKicks on Mondays 6.30 – 8 and Wednesdays 6.30 – 7.30.   Why not go along on Wednesday as a family?

We have a commitment to keeping your child safe, and all children’s activities held in the church are under the care of leaders who have been DBS checked.
